Store Assistant

Job Overview :
The primary role of the Store Assistant includes the receiving and processing of incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the store, and ensuring that stock is safely and properly stored.
Responsibilities and Duties :
Coordinating and performing the store daily operations to ensure that it is carried out in a productive and effective manner.
Ensuring physical incoming and outgoing stock tally with documentation such as DO, Packing List, ST, JO, etc.
Able to handle and organize all stocks to minimize damage, operate a forklift, and maintain care to minimize damage and downtime.
Responsible for internal operations such as internal transfers, managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the store.
Execute and follow the FIFO system for stock movement.
Ensure the store area is safe, clean, tidy, and organized through regular inspections.
Ensure effective and efficient inventory management, including integrity and accuracy of stock inventory, monthly cycle counts, and yearly stock-count exercises.
Implement and ensure that overall warehouse operations comply with Company Policies, Rules & Regulations.
Undertake any ad-hoc tasks assigned.
Work as a team member to complete team goals.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in warehouse/store.
Must be willing to handle warehouse/store tasks.
Able to work independently and with minimum supervision.
Able to operate a forklift (advantageous).
Having a GDL is preferred.
Creativity and strong problem-solving skills.
Possess a strong sense of sensibility, commitment, and discipline.
