foodpanda is part of the Delivery Hero Group, the world's leading local delivery platform operating in 70+ countries worldwide Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Lead and inspire the warehouse operations team to ensure the timely dispatch of customer orders, precise inventory management, and optimized operational efficiency across Singapore and Malaysia.
Process Innovation: Proactively identify and eliminate process bottlenecks while capitalizing on improvement opportunities to enhance overall operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
Financial Stewardship: Analyze comprehensive financial reports to discern trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction, providing strategic insights to guide operational budgeting and resource allocation.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage advanced data analytics to develop and track key performance metrics, providing strategic feedback to drive productivity and align team efforts with company objectives.
SOP Management: Lead the continuous review and enhancement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure best practices in warehouse operations, supply chain management, and logistics.
Team Development: Build and nurture a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and excellence to become the central backbone of pandamart.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between operations and other departments, ensuring alignment on strategic initiatives and fostering a collaborative environment to support business growth.
Change Management: Drive initiatives related to operational scalability and innovation, managing change effectively while minimizing disruptions to service delivery.
Customer-Centric Focus: Champion a customer-first approach, ensuring that all operational strategies align with enhancing the customer experience and meeting service level agreements.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations comply with regulatory requirements and safety standards, promoting a safe and secure working environment.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
A Master's degree is a plus.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain and warehouse operations, with a strong focus on leadership roles.
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
Strong business analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL, Python, or similar is preferred but not mandatory; experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
Proficient in WMS or other relevant warehouse management systems, with experience in optimizing their use for operational efficiency.
Proven track record of managing and executing continuous improvement initiatives within supply chain and operations environments.
Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and proactively drive initiatives forward.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrating flexibility and resilience in the face of challenges.
