JOB BRIEF
A competent storekeeping clerk to perform various administrative, storekeeping, and clerical tasks to support offices and store. Undertake a variety of activities in the office and store ranging from filing, store record, diesel usage record, chemical and fertilizer record, and basic bookkeeping. An effective storekeeping clerk has the ability to work diligently to help maintain smooth office and store operations. Reliable and hardworking with great communication skills. The ideal candidate will also be familiar with office equipment, store equipment, and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES, AUTHORITIES AND DUTIES
To perform all clerical and administrative duties as assigned by superior.
Maintain filing, database systems, and inventories.
Communicate with all the stakeholders and respond to any queries or complaints.
Assist in the operation and general maintenance of the office equipment such as printers, lightings, photocopier.
Recording, compiling, and maintaining of workers' attendance record, wages, and leave applications.
Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; tracks orders and investigates problems.
Records purchases, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
Receives, unpacks, and delivers goods; re-stocks items as necessary; labels shelves.
Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry.
Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the superior from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
Have at least a diploma in business studies or a related field from a recognized university; or
Have SPM with at least 1.5 years of work experience in the clerical/business/agricultural sector; or
Have sufficient experience in plantation/agriculture operations, which is deemed as adequate by the management/senior officials.
Organized, proactive, result-oriented, and rigorous.
Able to work independently.
Team spirit.
Strong communication and social skills.
Potential to progress to a higher responsibility position.
