Job Description for Storeman:
Material Management:
Responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing materials or products.Ensure inventory accuracy through regular stock checks.Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.Record Maintenance:
Document material receipts, dispatches, and stock movements.Accurately complete relevant paperwork and update system records.Handling and Classification:
Properly classify and store materials based on type and specifications.Prepare and pack items for dispatch as per orders or requirements.Assistance and Communication:
Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics departments to ensure smooth material flow.Assist in warehouse safety management to prevent material loss or damage.Equipment Operation:
Operate forklifts, stackers, or other warehouse equipment for material handling (if required).Ensure proper use of equipment and adhere to safety protocols.Summary of Role Requirements:
1 year of relevant work experience required for this role.
Working rights required for this role.
Expected start date for role: 20 January 2025.
Expected salary: RM1,500 - RM1,800 per month.
