Strategic Commodity Manager 6

**Responsibilities**:- Experience in commodity sourcing.- Responsible in leading SCM/ sourcing team to achieve supply chain objectives and result.- Establishing global supply chain (sourcing) strategy for procurement.- Develop and deploy new suppliers for critical technology in a fast-pace, high mix, low volume environment.- Development of outsourcing capabilities for capacity flexibility, and extensive lead time reduction.- Development of plans and metrics for annual cost savings.- Develop and maintain suppliers' core competencies to support local, region & global business requirements.- Manage supplier capacity plans and articulate constraints for long term planning- Negotiate contracts (purchase agreements, ISA's and etc.) and identify/execute on pricing inflection points- Manage Lam liabilities at suppliers through claims and balance sheet review processes- Manage Lam working capital through lead time strategies including postponement, consignment, and inventory stocking strategies- Establish business continuity planning and manage risk mitigation.- Focus on supply chain Asia transition initiative.**Minimum Qualifications**- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Business-related field- More than 15 years related experience in a supply chain & commodity sourcing with progressive responsibility- Proven ability to gain partnerships and excel on a cross-functional teams- Experience in procurement and supplier management desirable- Ability to interpret technical documents (i.e. blueprints/drawings/BOM)- Experience in using SAP system is an advantage- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills- Effective negotiation and interpersonal skills- Effective communication and presentation technique and skill- Ability to manage multiple processes and projects.- Ability to hand-on to details- Efficiency in Microsoft tools (e.g excel, power-point, words, notepads etc.) will be added advantages.- Team player, independent and meticulous**Our Commitment**We believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
