THE OPPORTUNITY Are you ready to be the driving force behind our Management Team's success? We're seeking an Strategy Associate who thrives in a dynamic environment, excels in communication, and possesses a strong background in corporate finance. You'll take on a diverse array of responsibilities, with a special focus on financial matters, ranging from strategic planning to operational support.
As the Strategy Associate, you'll be the Management Team's right-hand person, entrusted with both day-to-day operations and high-level strategic initiatives. From managing financial matters to overseeing corporate communication, HR, and beyond, your impact will be felt across the organization.
WHERE YOU'LL MAKE THE MOST IMPACT Maximize Efficiency: Craft efficient workflows to ensure our Management Team's time is optimized for maximum productivity.
Facilitate Communication: Act as a liaison between the Management Team, staff, and stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication without hierarchical barriers.
Strategic Financial Planning and support: Provide expert insights into financial planning and decision-making, contributing to the development of robust strategies.
Project Oversight: Provide guidance on projects assigned by the Management Team, balancing strategic vision with meticulous attention to details.
Decision Support: Organize and prioritize (financial) information to facilitate swift and informed decision-making.
Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for the Management Team, Board, and external stakeholders.
Quality Assurance: Review and provide feedback on materials presented to the Management Team, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Follow-up Management: Track action points arising from meetings, ensuring timely execution and reporting.
Effective Communication: Convey financial messages from the Management Team's office both in writing and in person, internally and externally.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE Educational Background: University degree in Applied Economics, Commercial Engineering, or Civil Engineering, with a focus on finance or related field.
Professional Experience: Relevant experience in a professional environment, such as professional services or a blue-chip company.
Finance Expertise: Extensive experience and expertise in corporate finance, with a proven track record of success in financial management.
Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, coupled with professional humility and curiosity.
Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills with a keen numerical literacy, especially in financial analysis.
Language Proficiency: Excellent command of English. Proficiency in either French or Dutch is a plus.
Positive Attitude: Approach challenges with optimism and a can-do attitude, especially in the realm of finance.
