Structural Engineer - Malaysia

RESPONSIBILITIES Structural design from concept to detailed design phase.
Structural validation and preparation of calculation reports.
Prepare structural models using Sesam GeniE, STAAD.Pro or SACS.
In depth knowledge AISC, API, DNVGL, Euro codes and other international standards and codes related to structural engineering.
Knowledgeable in developing local calculations using spreadsheets/ Mathcad with strong theoretical knowledge and fundamentals in structural engineering.
Ensure engineering design intend is correctly reflected in 3D collaborative environment/ database and structural drawing.
Check/ review structural drawing and details taking into consideration of constructability, integration and installation.
Prepare and check/ review MTO & Weight Control Report.
Liaise with the other engineering disciplines to deliver a consistent/ compliant design and obtain design input.
To answer technical queries and comments arising from clients, Classification Societies (ABS, DNV, BV), construction and other engineering disciplines.
REQUIREMENTS Bachelor of Engineering in Civil/ Structural/ Mechanical.
A working experience in structural engineering, junior profiles accepted.
Proficient in English language.
