The Impact You'll MakeOversees the planning and controls the flow of materials, products, services and related systems information from point of origin to point of delivery. Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to supply chain services, inventory control, or critical parts availability, material handling, import-export licensing, third-party warehousing and shipping/receiving activities. Develops and implements logistics plans, budgets, and procedures to maximize compliance with customer needs within budget constraints. Provides financial reporting and reconciliation of inventories. Exhibits thorough understanding of international Letters of Credit and other forms of banking documents and international shipments. Interacts with vendors and peers in Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, and Product Development personnel to optimize systems and procedures. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
What You'll DoOverseeing finished goods and shipment activities, warehousing and distribution operations
Implementing operational policies and procedures including eDMS document updating & training in compliance to ISO9001:2015 standards
Implementing and overseeing security, safety and quality of operations
Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment including MHE (material handling equipment)
Supervising, motivating and disciplining staff, maintain highest and latest standards in documentation and keeping accurate records of activities
Managing, evaluating and reporting operations productivity with focus in continuous improvement using Kaizen or Yellow Belt tools
Tracking and coordinating the crating, packing, storage, documentation and timely delivery of goods and materials
Checking orders, physical items received, inventory and deliveries including accurately maintaining records, reporting relevant information and preparing any necessary documentation
Performing daily inspection of warehouse grounds and operation shop floor while coordinating with other departments and customers
Coordinate with vendors on safety and quality improvement projects including timely delivery & receipt of materials for operations
Who We're Looking ForA degree or equivalent with 6+ years of related experience
Willing to work on shift
Experience as warehouse supervisor would be a plus
Good knowledge and understanding of warehouse management procedures
Proficient knowledge of inventory controls, shipment procedures, familiar with freight forwarding activities, customs regulations and documentation
SAP knowledge required
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Outstanding leadership, ability to gain respect, coach and guide staff with strong people management skills
Ability to manage multiple processes and projects
