About the role - you will:Manage all aspects of the production line and supervise manufacturing specialists
Supervise production line to ensure production targets are met
Coordinate with AL Grind Operation team toward production line improvements
Prepare and update shift reports on production efficiency and productivity
Initiate problem solving and troubleshooting processes to reduce process or equipment-related problems and delays
Continuously plan to improve work environment methods, effectiveness, and resource utilization, and critically review and monitor operation results
Prepare and implement production schedules to ensure that the required quantity and quality are completed within the scheduled time
Ensure that all production outputs are produced in accordance with quality control specifications
Conduct manpower planning and work with team members in line with efficiency improvement and wastage reduction to meet the internal RTY target
Ensure the Alum (AL) Grind Ops department meets safety requirements and maintains good housekeeping
Supervise and lead the production teams to meet production targets, improve safety, quality, yield, efficiency, cost, delivery, and discipline of workforce
Monitor line productivity/efficiency to meet schedules on time
Ensure discipline of manufacturing specialists and monitor absenteeism cases
Monitor line WIP and scrap closely
Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Standard Operating Procedures set by the company
About you:Demonstrated ability to lead people and obtain results through others
Effective interpersonal and communication skills with good team-building skills
Familiar with the usage of computer applications for data collection and recording (Microsoft Office, SAP, Emails, etc.)
Ability to think ahead, analyze production data, and prepare action plans to achieve results
Quality orientation and attention to detail
Able to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
Willing and able to work in a 12-hour day and night shift pattern
A Diploma holder with at least 2 years of working experience in a Manufacturing environment
Fresh graduates with a Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or any other engineering/technical/scientific fields are welcomed to apply
Your experience includes:Planning and understanding the production schedule and ensuring that the schedule is complied with
People management and leadership of a production/operations team
