This full-time position plays a crucial role in overseeing the hotel's housekeeping operations and ensuring a consistently high standard of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
What You'll Be Doing
Manage and oversee the daily housekeeping activities, including scheduling, task assignment, and performance monitoring of the housekeeping team.
Ensure guest rooms, public areas, and all hotel facilities are meticulously cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to identify and address any issues or areas for improvement.
Liaise with other hotel departments to ensure seamless coordination and timely resolution of housekeeping-related matters.
Implement and enforce housekeeping policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
Provide training and support to the housekeeping team to develop their skills and knowledge.
Manage inventory, ordering, and replenishment of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the housekeeping department of a hotel or similar hospitality establishment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a team.
Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making to address housekeeping-related issues.
Familiarity with housekeeping best practices, safety regulations, and inventory management.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, to ensure seamless hotel operations.
