Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities includes but not limited to,OperationsManage and operate security systems (Security, Health and Safety Portal, CCTV, intrusion alarm, access control, etc.).
Coordinate timely completion of outstanding Security Corrective Actions / Preventive Actions with appropriate parties and communicate issues to the District Manager and Regional Security Manager/Director.
Be a part of the District Business Review meeting to discuss security-related issues, concerns, and best practices.
Coach employees and management on how to complete incident reporting per the Security Incident Reporting Standard.
Take the lead on all district security incident investigations, in coordination with Regional and CHQ Security.
Support Business Continuity Plan development and testing.
Supporting full implementation of Expeditors Health and Safety Standards.
Educating colleagues and Service Providers regarding safety to enhance an overall culture of safety in the face of potential resistance.
Supervise a group of outsourced security personnel in daily security operations.Serving as key point of contact for Operational Process Standards.
Managing Security, Health and Safety resources and tools (ex.
the Portal).
Delivering Security, Health and Safety training (instructor-led courses).
CompliancePromote compliance in diligently following all company policies and regulations and in being the role model of integrity and pride for all employees.Proactively communicate with the team to ensure continuous awareness and understanding of policies and regulations.
Ensure 100% branch compliance with all local Security, Health & Safety regulations, in coordination with any branch / external compliance officers.Ensure 100% branch compliance with all Operational Process Standards ("Expeditors Minimum Security, Health & Safety Standards").
QualificationsAt least 2 years' relevant experience with exposure to supervisory functions preferably in logistics or supply chain industryAt least 1 year experience in the setup and administration of Security SystemsAbility to drive standards, awareness, compliance and implementation of all security, health and safety related mattersAble to efficiently conduct Security, Health & Safety related topics' briefings and trainings sessionsGood computer skills (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word)Proficient in MS Office, including Excel Formulas and Pivot TablesStrong organizational and analytical skills with an attention to the detailsProven leadership attitude and skillsAbility to drive through change
