Supervisor, Storage & Handling (Warehouse)Job Responsibilities
• Assist in the controlling, organizing, planning and monitoring the Warehouse general operations.
• Monitor and measure receiving department performance for accuracy of locator, receiving report, movement and storage of the materials.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise inventory stock counts on a monthly basis.
• Ensure materials are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures, and oversee the movement of material from receiving to the warehouse in an efficient, effective and safe manner.
• Ensure statistical follow-up of all transactions in Warehouse and Inventory managed locations and monitor the flow of paperwork from receiving to ensure timely posting.
• In charge of POSM or special project (stickering).
• Ensure all warehouse equipment (forklift / reach truck / hand pallet truck) is in good condition, and oversee repairing, maintenance, and other tasks.
• Support warehouse in 5S and Kaizen activities.
• Monitor movement of empty pallets for FFM / Loscam / Other.
Conduct cycle counts at principal and submit reports to the accounts department on a monthly basis.
• Issue Write On / Write Off on a monthly basis (for damaged / expired stock).
• Carry out any other instructions as directed by management and the Warehouse Manager.
• Prepare monthly collection reports for oil & flour.
• Prepare transporter evaluation reports.Person Specifications
Education & Qualification
• Diploma or Degree.
Relevant Experience & Years of Service
• 5 years and above working experience with 2 years of supervisory experience in warehousing and logistics.
Technical Skills & Professional Knowledge
• Responsible for Data Entry and System Inventory Update.
• In-house maintenance Trainer.
• Proficient in M3, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Competencies
• Manage incoming containers and arrange trucks for oil and flour collection.
