The Supply Chain Planning Team is responsible for translating the regional demand streams into an
executable supply plan. The Team works closely with our Contract Manufacturer(s) to provide a forecast
and ensure timely delivery of goods into the regional distribution centers. Supply requirements are
moderated by the Team to ensure that inventory positions are appropriate to meet the demand
requirements relative to; product lifecycle, inventory on order and in transit, finished goods and inventory
quality.
Responsibilities:
Oversees activities related to the purchase of material, material control, inventory control, shipping/receiving and stores functions
Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures and material control systems
Ensures materials are ordered and in stock to meet company requirements, while maintaining acceptable inventory levels
Develops material schedules and coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering
Reviews and plans requirements for purchasing materials
May prepare material requirement plans using enterprise resource planning systems
May assist with the establishment and maintenance of the production control system
Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
Qualifications:
Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree
Preferred Work Experience (years):
6-9 years experience including minimum 1 year as team lead/supervisor
Key Skills and Competencies:
Strong data entry skills with attention to detail/quality
Strong process adherence
Fluent level of English (written and verbal) as well as local language as applicable
Intermediate level skills in Microsoft business applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
Advanced knowledge of the region and/or product lines supported
Strong leadership skills coupled with a desire and ability for continuous learning/self-development
Intermediate level prioritization skills
Role model level professional work behaviors (attendance, teamwork, time management)
