ResponsibilitiesDrive supplier quality improvement initiatives by conducting detailed assessments, developing action plans, and monitoring progress to enhance supplier performance and capabilities.
Collaborate with suppliers to implement process improvements, quality control measures, and cost reduction initiatives while maintaining or improving product quality standards.
Lead supplier corrective action programs, including root cause analysis, corrective action verification, and preventive measure implementation to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
Develop and maintain supplier scorecards, metrics, and performance tracking systems to evaluate supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
Partner with procurement, engineering, and quality teams to qualify new suppliers and validate their manufacturing processes, ensuring alignment with organizational requirements and industry standards.
Conduct regular supplier audits and site visits to assess capabilities, identify risks, and ensure compliance with quality management systems and regulatory requirements.

Primary location is office-based with regular travel to supplier facilities.

Required QualificationsMinimum bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field).
10+ years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing, or related field.
Exposure to supply chain supporting various commodities like metal frames, cables and harnesses, sheet metal, and precision machined metal and plastic parts.
Strong understanding of quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100).
Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (Six Sigma, APQP, PPAP, FMEA).
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
Experience with supplier auditing and development programs.
Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools.
Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
