Job ResponsibilitiesInventory Management:Oversee and manage the inventory of materials and consumables to ensure alignment with production planning and operational efficiency.
Logistics Coordination:Facilitate the timely delivery of purchased parts and consigned materials to support production schedules, collaborating with local logistics suppliers for optimal efficiency.
Supplier Relations:Address and resolve supplier delivery issues promptly, implementing corrective actions to maintain smooth operations.
Transition Management:Coordinate the transition of incoming materials from suppliers, ensuring a seamless integration into production.
Compliance Oversight:Ensure compliance with all LMW (Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse) requirements and internal purchasing guidelines.
Procurement Process:Process purchase orders by liaising effectively with suppliers, ensuring all purchases receive the necessary approvals.
Sourcing:Identify and source new goods both locally and internationally that are not supplied by existing vendors, expanding our supplier network.
Cost Management:Analyze and calculate total costs of purchased goods, including freight, while implementing strategies to control departmental operating costs.
Cost Savings Initiatives:Develop and pursue yearly cost-saving goals, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and reduced expenditure.
Additional Duties:Take on additional responsibilities as assigned, contributing to team success and operational excellence.
Minimum RequirementsEducation:Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field.
Experience:Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain or procurement roles, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
Skills:Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of building effective supplier relationships.
Mindset:Proactive, dynamic, and results-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Teamwork:Excellent team player who can also work independently and take initiative when needed.
