ResponsibilitiesPurchase Order Management : Assist in placing purchase orders and following up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
Maintain accurate supplier records, contracts, and pricing information.
Assist in quotation comparisons and monitor supplier performance.
Inventory Management : Assist in stock levels monitoring to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
Assist in tracking inventory movement and updating records.
Conduct periodic stock checks and help maintain inventory accuracy.
Logistics Coordination : Schedule and track shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
Liaise with logistics providers and warehouse staff for smooth operations.
Address and resolve delivery issues, delays, or discrepancies.
Documentation and Reporting : Prepare shipping and custom documents as needed.
Maintain and organize records of transactions, invoices, and delivery notes.
Assist reporting on key metrics like lead times, costs, and inventory turnover.
Communication and Collaboration : Collaborate with internal departments, including sales, production, and finance, to ensure alignment.
Respond to suppliers' and customers' inquiries promptly and professionally.
Support direct / indirect superior in strategic projects and initiatives.
Identify opportunities to improve internal SOP, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency (e.g.
replenishment process).
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging supply chain technologies.
Perform other duties as assigned by superior from time to time.
RequirementsEducation : Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
Experience : 1 – 2 years previous experience in a supply chain, procurement, or logistics role is an advantage.
Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with inventory management or ERP systems (e.g., SAP or similar).
Skills : Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Other Requirements : May require flexibility during peak periods or when addressing urgent warehouse / logistics issues.

The main scope of our business activities in Malaysia will be fabrication of new corrugating rolls, refurbishment of used corrugating rolls and serving as a service hub for our machineries.
Our products will be mainly traded within Malaysia and exported to Asia Pacific countries.
Since 2019, more than 100 sets of corrugating rolls were successfully produced from Malaysia workshop.
You will be recruited as one of pioneers in building up BHS Corrugated Malaysia Sdn Bhd and will be occasionally invited to our overseas companies for job training.#J-18808-Ljbffr
