Ø Perform all order requisition from Sales team and work closely with sales team to perform sourcing of products and to ensure the stock level in hand is optimized as well as advise sales team of the replacement stock for OOS items to meet the business needs.
Ø Perform stock order and submit PO to suppliers, monitoring and expediting delivery activities including responsible for stock collection arrangements.
Ø Perform forecast planning to achieve accurate stock orders.
Ø Update stock arrival status to all related stakeholders for warehouse manpower planning and delivery to customers.
Ø Consolidate all payment related documents and work closely with Account team to ensure the payment mode to suppliers in a timely manner.
Responsible for Inventory Management
Ø Responsible for stock forecast prior to ordering including regular stock take (daily/weekly/monthly) to ensure sustainability of stock supply.
Ø Responsible for stock return from customers due to defects and prepare Credit Note to sales department.
Ø Validate stock shortages and variances in stock receiving and take necessary action plans.
Ø Propose and source substitute items for OOS and work closely with Import team for local goods replacement.
Ø Maintain the latest item code, product description, and price discrepancies in the system and update all stakeholders if any changes occur.
Support Sales Team in Achieving Business Objectives
Ø Support Sales Team in all product inquiries and provide all product information including specifications and pricing.
Ø Support in new item sourcing, perform price comparisons, and negotiate with suppliers for best pricing while maintaining the highest level of quality, reliability, services, and cost targets in line with business needs.
Ø Update new stock, OOS, and "FOR YOU TO SELL".
Data Management & Reporting
Ø Update and maintain stock ordering reports.
Ø Update and maintain all stock pricing reports as and when needed.
Ø Update and maintain supplier master reports.
Ø Update and maintain stock shortage reports on a daily basis and resolve out-of-stock problems.
Ø Maintain the latest product code and product description in the system and update all stakeholders if any changes occur.
Yearly Project
Ø Support in annual stock take.
