Core Values | Watlow # Watlow: Overview | LinkedIn Position Summary: This position is a new role and will lead and develop supply chain teams across functional disciplines including purchasing and planning to maximize the value and performance of Watlow's supplier partnerships and establishes a world class supply chain. The SCM will coordinate, organize and oversee all activities for the front end of material flow to support the customers needs.

Ensure strategic sourcing strategies are effectively applied and leveraged controlling material cost, and monitoring quality and delivery performance. Monitor supply chain inventory and records, assessing inventory dollars/turns and inventory accuracy and the impact to the supply base. Designs and improves functional KPIs that contribute meaningful results to enterprise True North initiatives. Demonstrates capability for engaging with external business partners to provide seamless linkage of supply chain processes. Leadership on key operations initiatives and strategy deployment projects. Center of Expertise (COE)Demonstrates capabilities in material management, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), pull systems, flow, and the implementation of lean concepts. High attention to detail, follow up and attention to customer service. Excellent customer service, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Relevant certification in APICS (CPIM, CSCP, CFPIM), ISM (CPM, CPSM, CSM), or equivalent. Lean Certifications or Experience. Demonstrates and coaches lean leadership. Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools. Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills. Possess exceptional conflict resolution skills and is adept at dealing with situations involving conflict with all level of leadership both internally and externally. Demonstrates effective project management capabilities. Experience and mastery of key concepts as listed in discipline matrix. Education, Experience and Certification Requirements. Bachelor's degree preferred or enrolled in a continuing education program. Technical certification preferred. Project management experience. Leadership training. 7-10 years of lean leadership experience preferred. Additional Information Regarding Position Must be willing to w ork at Kulim High Tech Park, Kedah, Malaysia. Well versed in Planning, Purchasing, Warehouse, Logistics. Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) knowledge will be a plus. Travel up to 50%. #J-18808-Ljbffr
