What you will do
Responsibilities:
Establishment of Malaysia Affiliate model
Participate in project to transition Amgen's business in Malaysia from a Distributor to an Affiliate business model. Ensure that process design is aligned with Malaysia regulations and mitigates risk.
Responsible for ensuring that Malaysia regulations and requirements are clear and incorporated into regional process.
Supply and Demand Planning
Responsible for supply security, risk assessment and mitigation planning.
Responsible for S&OP /IBP for full Malaysia portfolio.
Strong partnership with Commercial and Finance, to gather information and insights to develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts. Use Anaplan for integrated demand planning.
Conduct supply planning in global RapidResponse system.
Understand and balance enterprise requirements across the value chain to support continuous supply with optimized inventory levels and costs.
Customer Service and Wholesaler engagement
Collaborate with the Wholesaler to ensure that supply replenishment is handled in accordance with the Distribution Agreement.
Responsible for fulfilment process of Wholesaler's Purchase Orders. This includes creation of Sales Orders in SAP and liaison with the GSH-JAPAC, supply Site or planned Regional Distribution Hub.
Launch and Lifecycle Management
Develop strategy and implementation plan of product launches and lifecycle changes together with internal (Regional/Country Operations Lead, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Marketing, Value Access & Policy) and external (Wholesaler) parties. Ensure supply plan is aligned with the variation changes. Risks are identified, communicated, and mitigated to achieve supply continuity.
Logistics - Partner with, and provide advice to Global Supply Hub (GSH-JAPAC) to:
Ensure logistics, warehousing and distribution activities are compliant to GDP and other relevant standards.
Ensure trade compliance (e.g. Import License, Declarations, Reporting requirements, etc.) of imports and delivery to the Malaysia Wholesaler.
Proactively identify Operational Excellence opportunities to drive productivity and enable perfect execution of supply chain activities.
Develop and maintain Standard Operation Procedures or other form of work instructions.
KPI/Reporting
Ensure performance management is timely, accurate and provides important insights to stakeholders.
Responsible for KPI generation according to Distribution Agreement with Wholesaler.
Responsible for reporting and KPIs for internal stakeholders.
Other activities as required
Lead and participate in projects, within Supply Chain and cross-functional to achieve business objectives: ie: e-labelling, Supply model change.
Participation in Business and Quality Audits.
Business Continuity Planning.
Financial planning and performance.
Some travel.
Some out-of-hours teleconferences.

What we expect of you
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Qualification, MBA or similar.
5-7+ years functional supply chain experience, preferred with major pharmaceutical companies.
Fluent in English, in both speaking and writing; Chinese/Malay fluency.
Knowledge
Pharmaceutical supply chain management.
Local market knowledge, industry trends, industry associations, business landscape.
GMP/GDP.
Cold chain management.
Experience in dealing with major pharmaceutical distributors and logistic service providers.
Interaction and working in diverse cultures.
Above-country reporting and collaborator management.
Service level agreements and legal contracts.
Measure and inspire change through data analysis.
ERP system, experience in SAP implementation is preferred.
Planning systems such as Anaplan, SAP/APO or RapidResponse.
Skills
