MACOM is an Equal Opportunity Employer.We consider applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, religion, creed, gender, national origin, age, disability, marital status or veteran status or any other legally protected status.Job Purpose: Takes full supply execution responsibility for multiple key pre-defined products and/or internal/external processes (ensuring Macom' delivery commitments and contractual agreements are met)Main Duties & Responsibilities:Generate and maintain a supply plan for Contract Equipment Manufacturers (CEMs/suppliers) in support of the Master Production Schedule and Customer requirementsSchedules/plans specific products, activities and/or product lines with little guidance and direction from others, uses experience to highlight risk and opportunities.Uses existing procedures to create PRs/POs/WOs for external or internal services/supply as required via Macom processes/ERP demands.Executes supply chain planning processes and MRP logic via ERP system to drive necessary materials and product supply for Macom customer driven demands.
Manages and Maintain inventory control systems in line with M/A-COM expectationsApplies general knowledge/supply techniques developed through Macom's defined processes & ERP system requirementsResponsible for overall planning and scheduling of his/her allocated products or processes to ensure that delivery commitments are metIs required to be self-sufficient and can be responsible/accountable for all elements of their role.Key Competencies Required:Strong planning and organisational skills.Strong Analytical skills.Effective communication skillsAbility to work within a team environmentAbility to work on own initiative.Thorough working knowledge of MRP (inputs, logic and outputs) within an ERP systemPrevious Relevant Work Experience:Demonstrated ability to performing the activities outlined in the Job purpose (above)Minimum 3 years' experience in supply chain Planning, production scheduling and/or Vendor Scheduling activitiesMinimum 3 years experience working with an ERP systemMinimum Qualifications:Degree level standard and/or 3yrs of equivalent experience (preferably degree and/or third level education in supply chain and/or business-related areas).
