Job ResponsibilitiesLead the implementation of a new planning tool, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for supply, inventory, and distribution planning processes for the local market.
Oversee the master data clean-up and update process, ensuring data accuracy across multiple platforms, with support from the local planning team.
Support the validation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and process models, ensuring alignment with regional timelines and requirements.
Serve as a super user of the new planning tool, providing training and guidance to end-users on its functionality across various planning processes (MRP, DRP, inventory, and production).
Participate in tool design workshops, collaborating with stakeholders to define and validate processes for the local market and relevant export regions.
Identify and address any gaps between current and future processes in the new system, working closely with project teams to resolve issues and ensure alignment with business goals.
Ensure the quality and accuracy of operational data in the new system, continuously aligning with business requirements.
Ensure integration of new supply processes with local market practices, particularly where deviations from regional standards occur.
Lead the User Acceptance Testing (UAT), model validation, scenario planning, and functional training of the supply planning module, ensuring alignment with both local and regional teams.
Collaborate closely with regional and global planning teams, supporting the transition phase and providing ongoing post-implementation support.
The Successful ApplicantExtensive experience (5-7 years) in supply and inventory planning processes, with a strong understanding of supply chain management systems.
In-depth knowledge of end-to-end supply chain workflows, with experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or relevant industries being advantageous.
Experience in large-scale system implementation or migration projects, particularly within supply chain or planning tools, is highly beneficial.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence a variety of stakeholders at all levels.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in complex, matrix organisations, managing multiple stakeholders and driving initiatives across teams.
Proactive, results-oriented, and able to manage priorities effectively, working both independently and within a team environment.
Experience managing internal teams and supporting change management processes, while liaising with external stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal skills with experience working in cross-functional, multicultural teams.
Familiarity with ERP systems (such as JDE, SAP) and planning tools for supply planning modules is a plus.
