rhiis currently recruiting for aSupply Planning Lead SMEto roll-out and the adoption of 'Kinaxis' Planning tool for a major energy client's supply planning team from their Bangsar South and Port Klang offices.

The role
Leading the new Planning Tool implementation (Kinaxis) and acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for supply/inventory and distribution planning processes for Malaysia.
Developing and managing a portfolio-wide delivery plan that reflects overall business investment themes and priorities.
Leading the master data clean-up and update task for the Malaysian market both in JDE and Kinaxis tools, with support from the local planning team.
Supporting the validation of Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) and End to End process model according to the regional timelines.
Acting as a super user in Kinaxis (KRR) and being responsible for training the end-users on the new tool for supply planning (MRP/DRP/Inventory/Production).
Participating in Kinaxis design workshops and processes for supply/inventory planning, validating/aligning the processes for Malaysia & export markets of Port Klang.
Highlighting and identifying gaps between current and to-be processes in Kinaxis and resolving the issues/gaps along with the project team and the Malaysian markets on a regular basis, while striving for gap closure within agreed timelines.
Ensuring quality of operational data and data validation in the new system, while constantly aligning with the business requirements.
Ensuring that any agreed new supply processes integrate with the local market processes, if deviations from regional standards exist.
Driving and leading the UAT/test scenario planning, model validation, user flow validation and functional training of supply planning module in Kinaxis and ensuring alignment with Malaysia team & extended team of export markets.
This role will work closely with AsPac and Global Planning team, I&E, local supply planners and Kinaxis team and support hyper care after implementation and launch.
This role may be requested to support markets outside Malaysia, according to business requirements.
Requirements
Expert in Supply/inventory planning process with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in supply planning.
Must haveSAP and JDE experience (Supply chain modules) - Any Kinaxis experience is a bonus.
Strong knowledge of end-to-end workflow of supply chain management system, preferably FMCG experience or good understanding of Lubricant Business.
Must haveexperience in process mapping and data checking.
Experience working on medium to large scale migration project on system implementationwould be beneficial.
Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally in English, both written and verbally, to a wide variety of audiences.
Demonstrated track record of working with teams within complex, matrix organizations with a significant number of stakeholders.
Self-driven, resourceful and results-oriented, plans effectively and works well in a team or individually.
Experience of managing internal teams and change management processes while working with external stakeholders.
Strong collaboration and excellent team skills with experience in working with cross-functional and multi-cultural teams.
Though based in Bangsar South office, the role requires travel to Port Klang a few times a week to be with the wider planning team (plant location) - Flexibility is required.
12 month contract with a view to extend.
