This role is responsible for thedesign, development, implementation, enhancement and technical supportfor enterprise IT applications under Digital Workplace. Itcollaborates closely with Business Users and end-users to drive application function projects, handle change requests, and provide system support . This ensures timely and efficient resolution of system-related incidents.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide project delivery and BAU support for Content Workspace Management related systems and solutions mainly on Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Microsoft SharePoint Online, Power Platform, Power BI, .NET applications, low-code tools for online forms and workflow automations and rapid application development platforms.
Gather, compile and analyze business requirements from business users and relevant stakeholders, and identify the solutions to meet business needs or resolve business problems
Perform planning, scheduling and documentation of new application development and enhancements to existing applications
Design the user interface, produce a prototype and develop web or mobile application as per approved business requirements
Organize and conduct System Integration Test (SIT) and User Acceptance Test (UAT) sessions with users.
Identify application development improvement, opportunities and action plans.
Troubleshoot application, database and system issues reported by users.
Perform first and second level support and maintenance for all systems under the Content Workspace Management to ensure system availability and healthiness.
Carry out periodic system maintenance exercise e.g. disaster recovery, housekeeping and health checks.
Work closely with business partners, technology teams (Infrastructure, Network, Security, Application) and vendors in project delivery and BAU operations
Examine application development & system maintenance best practices and implement best practices.
Implement appropriate processes, development standards and system improvements to improve system stability and performance.
Work closely with Strategy Planning & Enterprise Architecture team to define and implement application architecture.
Perform periodic project/system assessments/reviews to ensure adherence to architecture standards.
Work closely with Business Users for adoption and the change management process to ensure change is sustained and reinforced.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Malaysian citizen.
Pass Malay Language including oral test at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level
Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent qualification in relevant field recognized by the Government.
Minimum 3 years of experience in web application development and support roles.
Minimum 2 years in managing, implementing and supporting enterprise content management solutions.
Certified in ECM, Microsoft products such as SharePoint Online and Power Platform, ITIL, and other relevant certifications are an added advantage.
Technical skills:
Experience with managing document and enterprise content management (ECM) platforms such as SharePoint Online, IBM FileNet, OpenText and NewGen OmniDocs is highly preferred. Experience with supporting Jboss EAP servers will be an added advantage.
Experience in designing and developing application process flows, user journeys, wireframes and prototypes.
Knowledge and experience in integrating apps with enterprise backend systems, databases (MS SQL Server & Oracle), middleware/Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), Business Process Management (BPM) or via API (REST).
Proficient in application development using VB.NET, C#. Familiarity with Javascript and JQuery is an advantage.
Experience in managing and supporting commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) platforms for productivity suite and enterprise content management, either on premise or cloud-based (SaaS)
Ability to develop an automated workflow using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile development methodologies and practices. Experience with DevOps practices and tools is an added advantage.
Familiarity with the ITIL processes involving software change management and service management is preferred.

Ability to independently complete tasks with minimal supervision and work beyond office hours, both onsite and remotely, as required.
