System Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting the customer's IT infrastructure. You will work closely with other IT professionals, in this case IT end users, and partners to ensure that the systems and network infrastructure are operating efficiently and securely. Your role will involve IT system project study, design, installation, test run, and post-installation tasks such as troubleshooting and periodic performance optimization, as well as scheduled maintenance.Other duties include attending project meetings, conducting technical requirement studies, project planning, and technical deployment of the IT system project with other project team members.Requirement:Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldProven experience in implementing and managing system infrastructure solutionsStrong knowledge of operating systems & storages (e.g., Windows Server, Linux/Unix) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plusCertifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or CompTIA Security+ are advantageousExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a teamStrong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organizationResult-oriented with excellent process and SOP execution skills and the right attitudeProject management experience or being integral to projects would be advantageousMinimum 2-5 years working experience in a system operation positionResponsibilities:Implement and maintain server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, storage systems, and network devicesConfigure and deploy operating systems, applications, and services according to best practicesPlan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and expansionsCommunicate and collaborate with multi-tier personnel, such as clients and vendorsPrepare pre and post-project documentationLiaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution and escalationProvide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues and ensure meeting SLAWorking Hour:Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 6:00pmOccasionally on weekends and public holidays on a project basisBenefit:Allowance and ClaimsOn Job Training & CertificationEPF & SOCSOInsurancePerformance BonusSalary:RM3,000 - RM6,000#J-18808-Ljbffr
