About the role As the System Engineer, you will be responsible in assisting and supports business development activities for prospects within defined customers segment to support the business strategy.
Key Responsibilities: As a System Engineer, you'll be responsible for: Responsible for the promotion of company's values and solution to all levels from customers.
Establishes prospects and develops a professional relationship to understand the customer needs and suggest products and/or services that meet the customer needs.
Prospects bid opportunities, participates in the preparation of bid responses and the negotiation with potential customers to achieve company's goals and targets assigned.
Create and pursue leads proactively and convert them into orders in timebound manner.
Provide monthly report on sales progression to management.
Responsible for payment collections.
Develops proactively with existing and new customer contact leads for new opportunities.
Attends trade shows at times to increase the visibility of the organization and potentially influence prospects.
To support equipment selection (chillers, AHU, FCU) based on cost or performance driven.
To support and prepare proposal submission to include equipment selection with performance summary, unit drawings with dimension, equipment loading points and project execution draft timeline.
To prepare project execution activities such as method of statement, material submission for approval and follow up approval from client.
To support site activities as Site Engineer and update weekly project status update and update project completion status update.
To follow up delivery schedule and site coordination work with appointed subcontractors.
To attend to site visit and to gather relevant information for Modernization proposal and cost preparation Reviews project expenditures to ensure the accuracy of all invoices/applications for payment in accordance with purchase order and subcontract terms and conditions and ensures that they are processed (approved/authorized) in a timely manner.
Updates project schedules and prepares project management correspondences and documents effectively on all aspects of the implementation phases, including customer meeting minutes, team assignments/action item tracking, letters, memorandums, transmittals and RFIs.
Acts as the primary contact with customers, develops a professional relationship, and understands the customer needs to meet those within the bounds of contracted scope.
Understands and communicates job schedule to all project team members to ensure timely completion of project.
Adjusts orders for any changes to the scope for moderate projects.
