You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of mission-critical systems while ensuring that solutions meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and integrate complex railway systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Work closely with project managers and engineers to define system requirements and specifications.
Perform system analysis, testing, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
Manage system lifecycle activities, from planning to deployment, maintenance, and upgrades.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including railway operators and suppliers, to ensure seamless system integration.
Ensure that all systems comply with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality assurance guidelines.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and team members.
Contribute to the development of new solutions to improve system performance and reliability in the railway sector.
Requirements:
Experience:Minimum 3 years of experience as a System Engineer, with a strong focus on the railway industry.
Technical Skills:Solid understanding of system engineering principles, practices, and methodologies.
Experience with railway systems such as signaling, communications, control systems, or rolling stock.
Proficiency in system modeling, testing, and troubleshooting tools.
Knowledge of software and hardware integration in the context of railway systems.Education:Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Communication Skills:Strong written and verbal communication skills for liaising with teams and stakeholders.
Problem-Solving:Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
