As a Technical Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of technical systems and providing exceptional support to customers.

Job Scope:
Primarily responsible for the night shift, allowing work from home while remaining on standby, with on-site visits to the customer location only when required/issue occurred.
However, occasional on-site work during the day shift may be needed.
Act as Level 1 Support to diagnose, troubleshoot, and address customer technical issues related to hardware and software, providing resolutions for reported problems.
Escalate complex or recurring issues to Level 2 Support (Internal Developer Team) as necessary.
Focus on troubleshooting and resolving all technical issues, particularly for existing Warehouse Automation Robotics, with responsibility for evening and night shifts.
Participate in planning, delivery, and implementation activities for automation equipment installations.
Collaborate with software developers, hardware engineers, and other stakeholders.
Actively contribute to integrating sub-systems within logistics solutions, including Conveyors, ASRS, AMR robots, AGVs, and storage systems.
Serve as a key contributor within the Customer Service organization.
Be prepared to climb warehouse racking during troubleshooting activities.
This is a 1-year contract position with an option for extension.
Job Requirements:
2-4 years experience in systems / technical support engineering.
Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related engineering background.
Experience in supporting hardware, electrical, control systems and application software.
Several years of working experience in an automated industrial or material handling environment (automotive, ecommerce, cold chain or 3PL industries).
Application knowledge of industrial warehouse systems (conveyors, AGV, ASRS, AMR, monorail, etc.)
would be a distinct advantage.
Certificate to work at height is preferred.
Experience in MS Excel and Word intermediate or advanced level is required.
Experience in troubleshooting, maintaining and supporting technical issues.
Good customer service skills including being able to communicate at all levels.
Effectively communicate with both customer and supplier project teams.
Good command of spoken and written English.
Must have own transportation and be willing to be stationed 90% of the time in Gelang Patah, with occasional short-term project assignments within Malaysia.
A reliable and easily reachable individual.
