Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Engineering)
Manage all testing and the documentation for the project.
Ensure quality delivery from the project installation and coordinate handover to client and internal service department.
Review the project design and ensure operation feasibility.
Verify and evaluate the quality and performance of the equipment/system according to the specification and requirement before delivery to the client.
Involve in project early stage to understand the construction and Testing & Commissioning requirement.
Ensure work compliance to standards, in accordance with engineering practices.
Understand Built Plans (M&E), Technical Literature and Equipment Manuals.
Equipment troubleshooting, root cause analysis, review and propose solutions.
Report to T&C Manager and Project Manager for any work issues and non-compliances.
Conduct the 5 levels of commissioning.
Support Project Team on any technical issues related to Testing Procedures.
Prepare T&C test sheets & documentation prior to T&C inspection.
Schedule & coordinate all T&C activities including attending equipment SAT Testing and submitting site Inspection reports.
Liaise with project T&C consultant on all T&C matters, and ensure all reports are compiled and submitted after every inspection.
Compile, review and submit all T&C MOS for consultant review and approval.
Depending on project need, this position may be located On-Site or Off-Site and requires frequent travel to the project site.
Any other duties assigned by Director or higher.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years' experience in various construction commissioning roles on site; candidates with less experience will be considered for Engineer role.
Familiarity with data center design and construction standards is preferred.
Experience of T&C standards for hyper-scale data centers, large cloud service providers or data centers for the financial industry is preferred.
Detail-oriented, sound judgment, organized, and flexible.
Displays a high level of responsiveness and follows through on commitments.
Good interpersonal skills and able to interact with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner.
Effectively communicate and work as part of a team, maintaining a professional attitude and collaborating with team members and managers on assigned tasks.
