Attracting and retaining the right talents is one of Ambu's key strategic pillars to deliver on our company growth plans. Hence, we are looking for a top Talent Attraction Partner who can be a trusted advisor to our Leaders, identify & attract the most appropriate profiles and play an important part in Ambu's longer term projects to improve our Talent Attraction efforts.
Reporting into the Global Head of Talent, you will form part of a global team, established in Malaysia in the summer of 2024, allowing you to have true influence on TA's ways of working going forward. Your primary focus area will be Recruitment for our global services across Finance and IT in Penang, but you will work with leaders based both locally and internationally, focusing on building teams supporting the business as a whole. You will join an existing Partner supporting our technical recruitments, and may need to support beyond your functional focus area depending on workload.
In this role, you will be given full ownership of the end-to-end recruitment processes. It will be your responsibility to help the Leadership identify their true capability needs, create effective sourcing strategies, as well as support on interviews in the later stages of the process. You should expect to approach passive candidates proactively as part of your sourcing strategies.
Further, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with the existing TA Partner in the region to leverage our employer brand, further developing our relationships with relevant government agencies, ensuring our overarching employer positioning, and further improve our Recruitment and hiring process.
Key responsibilitiesYour main responsibilities will include:
Acting as a Recruitment Business Partner to Leadership within Corporate Functions in Penang: identifying hiring needs, reaching out to candidates, supporting during interviews and finally at offer stage.
Using creative, multi-channel sourcing strategies to approach the right candidates for Ambu proactively.
Participating in interviews, specifically giving feedback on psychometric and cognitive assessments.
Acting as a true champion of Diversity & Inclusion throughout your role, ensuring a broad range of cognitive diversity and true environment of inclusion throughout the business.
Embedding the established recruitment process into the local ways of working, ensuring adherence to global policies and governance.
Owning longer term improvement projects within your region of responsibility, e.g. related to Employer Branding, Recruitment Marketing, Talent Pipelining or Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
Work with the current TA and HR team to improve our Employer brand, hiring process and take a proactive approach to identifying, attracting and developing talent.
Form an active part of the global Talent Attraction team, contributing to the progress in Ambu's way of attracting talent going forward.
Suggested candidate profileSkills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you have some or all of the following:
Some years experience in a Recruitment function, either via an internal TA team or as an external head hunter.
Strong active sourcing experience and a proactive nature to filling positions as efficiently as possible, without compromising on quality.
Previous experience recruiting IT, Finance and other corporate in a strongly regulated industry would be an advantage: Medtech would be preferable, however related industries such as broader Life Science, Engineering, or Technology would also be relevant.
Strong knowledge of the Penang labour market preferred.
Strong stakeholder management skills: You feel comfortable using your knowledge and market data to advise Managers on suggested Recruitment approaches, even if you disagree with them.
Comfortable working in ambiguity: Talent Attraction at Ambu is redefining our role in the organisation and our processes in the team. You will play a strong part in this, but we won't always have the answers and sometimes need to figure them out together.
Strong international mindset, preferably with previous experience reporting into international teams.
