We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Tax Assistant Manager to join our team.
You will play a pivotal role to ensure our clients comply with tax regulations and tax optimization that covers:
Tax Functions
Tax Control & compliance
Tax Monitoring
Tax Assurance
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the client's tax liabilities and compliance;
Manage tax audits, inquiries, and investigation cases;
Monitor & mitigate tax risks by identifying potential tax planning opportunities;
Review tax computation, tax submissions, tax estimation and tax correspondences;
Lead and supervise tax professionals within the organization for tax reporting deadlines;
Ensure compliance with all local and international regulations;
Provide guidance & training support to finance and accounting teams on tax related matters;
Work closely with clients and liaise with various government agencies e.g.
Inland Revenue Board, Customs, Ministry of Finance and other relevant government agencies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field;
Minimum of 4 years experience in the tax industry;
Professional certifications such as ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, CFA, or CTP are a plus;
Strong understanding of international tax regulations and guidelines;
Analytical and problem-solving skills;
Communication, interpersonal and client relationship management skills.
