Tax Associate

Job Responsibilities: Plan tax payments. Estimate and track tax returns. Complete quarterly and annual tax reports. Set up and update the company's tax database. Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals. Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns. Share financial data with the accounting department. Identify tax savings and suggest ways to increase profits. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and track changes related to taxes. Work with internal and external auditors. Forecast tax predictions to senior managers. Job Requirements: Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Taxation or equivalent professional qualifications (e.g. CTIM, ACCA, CIMA, CPA OR AIA). Applicants with Diploma in Accounting or Taxation and relevant working experience are welcome to apply. Proven work experience in tax accounting, taxation and/or tax-related exposure will be given preferential consideration. Familiar with tax computation and capital allowance preparation, and tax compliance and Tax returns. Knowledge of tax audit, tax appeal/resolution procedure will be given preferential consideration. Computer literacy (MS Excel in particular).  Good analytical and time management skills. Able to work independently, work well under pressure and work as a Team.
