Tax Associates

The candidate will deal with clients on tax compliance and other tax matters such as tax incentives, withholding tax, and transfer pricing.
Most importantly, the candidate must have a positive attitude, a passion to learn, and a commitment to excellent performance.The seniority of the position will depend on your past experiences and qualifications.
Consequently, the roles and responsibilities will depend on the seniority of the position.In general, as a tax associate, you will be required to:Compute tax computationsAdvise clients on tax estimatesIdentify any non-compliances with tax legislation and discuss with the tax managerMonitor tax deadlinesFollow up closely with clients and IRB officersAssist in SST compliance workPerform any other duties as assignedFor senior tax staff, you may have the opportunity to assist in:Advisory on tax matters such as transfer pricing, tax incentives, and tax deductibility of expensesReview tax computations done by audit and tax colleaguesAttributes required:Good command of written and spoken EnglishGood technical knowledge in taxationPreferably has passed ACCA/CTIM/CPA or has no more than 4 papers leftPleasant, confident, and possesses good communication skillsReasonable knowledge in SST#J-18808-Ljbffr
