Reporting into Tax Director Asia Pacific, we are searching for a team member to join us as Tax Manager Asia Pacific .

What you will be doing Corporate Tax (Singapore and Malaysia) Compile information for preparation of tax returns for Holding companies including review, liaising with tax consultants to clear review points, etc.
Attend to queries / tax audit from tax agents and tax authorities.
Reconcile income tax expense disclosure in audited FS for group of companies.
Review tax figure for internal reporting (FS consolidation, CbCR, Global Minimum Tax, etc).
Prepare and submit estimates of tax payables to the IRB and IRAS (e.g., Form CP204, CP204A, ECI).
Liaise with external parties such as tax agents / consultant and all prevailing legislations ensuring full compliance of the companies.
Withholding Tax (Singapore and Malaysia) Work closely with Shared Service team to ensure timely and accuracy remittance of WHT payment and WHT receipts distribution to vendors.
SST & GST Returns, other ad-hoc tax topics (Singapore and Malaysia) Work closely with Shared Service team to ensure timely and accuracy preparation of SST (Malaysia) and GST (Singapore) return.
Intercompany transaction (Region) Monitor all intercompany transaction of the companies to ensure arm's length principle and OECD principles being adopted.
Work with local consultant for Transfer pricing (TP) documentation related matters with all local BUs to ensure full compliance and minimize exposure.
Communicate closely with global tax team for other TP policy related issues.
Other tax related issues (Region) Support local BUs for tax audit related matters.
Advise other stakeholders on tax implication of a particular transaction.
Other duties as assigned to support tax planning and success of the business.
What we would love for you to have Minimum Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline, or equivalent education.
Minimum 10 years of combine (local and regional) work experience preferably with MNCs and Big 4 consultant.
Strong understanding of Singapore and Malaysia tax.
Strong excel and analytical skill (tax, finance and accounting).
Language proficiency in English.
Bilingual or multilingual proficiency would be an added asset.
Strong communication (verbal and written) and personal skills.
Pro-activeness in communicating with all Finance teams and business partners.
Experience in accounting system e.g.
Hyperion, JD Edwards, or SAP would be preferred.
