Short Intro and About the Job The Zone Tax Manager is accountable for coordinating the agreed tax reporting tasks and tax projects in China, North Asia & Oceania (CNAO) and India-South East Asia (ISEA) geographiesMAIN RESPONSIBILITIESTax ReportingCo-ordinate and consolidate Danone internal tax reporting, including but not limited to tax rolling forecast and analysis, ETR reporting and analysis, indirect tax (Caramel reporting), consolidated reports for tax filing status, project update, value added tasks, tax preferential treatments, etc. in the zoneCo-ordinate and analyze the tax provisions and tax risks in the zoneTax Planning and ProjectsCo-ordinate and support the legal entity simplification in the zone including reporting, project management, the support to the geos tax teams, and execution (if needed)Cor-ordinate with geos tax teams on the tax matters related to the regional holding entitiesSupport the zone tax director in M&A projects for the dedicated CBUs in the geos.Support and coordinate in cross-function projects (including systems) in the zoneSupport and coordinate the ESG projects/initiatives in the zone/geos from tax perspectiveTransfer Pricing (TP) Reporting and PlanningSupport global TP team and coordinate the recurring TP reviews with Corporate based on the global schedule in the zoneSupport the ad-hoc TP projects / benchmark studies in the zoneInternal Control / LearningPrepare and refresh tax position papers, SOPs to document tax positions and work processes.Support the zone Tax Director and geos tax teams to supervise the internal control procedures for the geos, and provide documentation for DanGo requirement, if needed.Support DBS Learning & Sharing in tax session.External RelationshipBuild the relationship with external auditors and Danone tax consultants About You Bachelor or above degree, preferably with finance, accounting tax, law majorsAt least 5-year experience in dedicated tax areaBig 4 corporate tax department experience is a must, CPA qualificationGood command of English in writing and speakingSAP knowledge is a plusStrong analytical skill and communication skills dealing with both external and internal partiesAttention to detailsAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslySelf-motivated with drive, passion and high integrity About Us, We offer and What's next Danone is a world-leading food company built on three business lines Fresh Dairy Products, Specialized Nutrition and Beverages.
