Adcote Matrix International School (AMIS) is an established international school, located in Seremban, Malaysia.
The school is approximately 45 minutes away from the capital city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.
We offer a broad and innovative curriculum from Early Years and Primary Cambridge International Curriculum and IPC, Secondary Cambridge curriculum, IGCSE and A Level based on a combination of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), Cambridge International Curriculum and the National Curriculum for England and Wales.
Due to rapid expansion in the school, we are seeking the following new position for August 2025 or earlier where possible.
We are looking for a dedicated teacher with experience teaching IGCSE and A Level, as well as some KS3 science, who can make complex concepts accessible and engaging for all learners.
Your teaching will focus on creating a hands-on learning environment where students can conduct experiments, engage in problem-solving activities, and apply theoretical knowledge to real-world situations.
By incorporating interactive demonstrations, technology, and collaborative projects, you will encourage students to think critically and develop a deep understanding of the fundamental principles of physics.
Your ability to break down challenging topics into manageable lessons will empower your students to build confidence in their abilities.
You will emphasise the connections between physics and everyday life, illustrating how scientific principles shape the world around us.
Your engaging teaching style will motivate students to ask questions, explore new ideas, and pursue their interests in science.
Additionally, you will have the chance to mentor and support students outside the classroom through extracurricular activities, such as science clubs, competitions, and field trips.
These experiences will not only reinforce classroom learning but also inspire students to pursue their passion for physics beyond the school setting.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in the subject area applied with post graduate teaching qualification.
A Masters degree is desirable.
Leadership positions require relevant and recent experience.
