Job Requirements
Diploma in Early Childhood Education
SPM
0-3 years of overall experience in a similar role in education.

Core Knowledge Required
Understanding of how a classroom is to be run smoothly.
Ability to coordinate well with the teacher and be prepared for the lessons that the teacher is teaching for that day.
Observant to the needs of the children and are able to identify students who need extra guidance in lessons and those who are fast learners who can motivate others with their good work.
TEACHING ASSISTANT
Working Hours:Every Monday – Friday, 8.00 am to 4.00 pm
Job Responsibilities:
Communication
Develop a warm and nurturing relationship with students in your class.
Always speak positively about a child.
Talk to and listen to children appropriately.
Monitors the progress of students and communicates with teachers, parents, and administration.
Maintains open communication between yourself and the classroom teacher and between other school personnel.
Work cooperatively with the class teacher and other assistants, proactively sharing skills and strengths and seeking assistance from others when required.
Refer all questions about the curriculum or individual student progress directly to the class teacher.
Be well informed about the daily class timetable and schedule before the beginning of the school day, check the class teacher's daily planner each morning to become familiar with the day's plans and specific expectations.
Be informed about all expectations and requirements of all teacher assistants by reading staff handbooks, and school newsletters and checking emails on a regular basis.
Students
Instructs as directed, students in large or small groups, on a daily basis as part of the established educational program.
Assists in the development of or develops daily instructional plans.
One-on-one support with individual children.
Small group work (spelling, phonics, sight words, math games, etc.)
Monitoring and supervision of students
Roam the class during independent activities.
Manages and interacts with children in a positive and supportive manner
General
Attends weekly staff meetings.
Assists with pick up and drop off of students with the class teacher (specialist lessons, library, cafeteria, bus bay, nurse, etc.).
Undertake playground supervision as per the duty roster, ensuring expectations are being consistently reinforced.
Attend carnivals, special events, and excursions as organized.
Attend whole school staff meetings, carnivals, excursions, and special events as required.
Labels and Displays
Updating and changing displays in classrooms and shared areas.
Displaying Art Work
Materials and Supplies
Ensure sufficient basic supplies e.g.
stationery, art and craft materials, are available and easily accessible.
Storage and tidiness of materials in Math and Language areas
Prepare art and craft materials as required (fill and clean paint pots and brushes, make play dough, collage materials, glue, etc.)
Cover books, mend books, and resources where necessary.
Assist in the preparation and creation of teaching aids, e.g.
games, work cards, flashcards, etc.
Administrative
Responsible for coordinating filing, typing, bulletin boards, and inventories at the assigned grade level.
Distribution, storage, and tidiness of materials and supplies in classrooms and workrooms.
Assist with ICT requirements (downloading and printing digital photographs, publishing children's work, etc).
Assists with students' portfolios.
Lead classroom routines (homework, reading folders, parent notes, lunch, and water bottles).
Take excursion money for banking.
Keep a daily record of dismissal- how children are being collected (parent pick up, bus numbers).
Photocopying, and producing booklets (sending items to the print room).
DAYCARE ASSISTANT
Working Hours:Every Monday – Friday, including school holidays, Full Time: 12.30 pm to 6.00 pm, Part-Time: 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Job Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma in Education/ Teaching/ Early Years Education, or 3 years of practical experience as a Daycare Teacher.
Fresh graduates with a passion in daycare or interest in further studies in Education are welcome to apply;
Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English both written and spoken, fluent proficiency in Mandarin (both written and spoken) is a plus;
At least 3 years of working experience in daycare;
Has patience, flexibility, and love for children;
Nurses with pediatric experience are welcome.
Job Responsibilities:
Daycare assistants work together with the daycare supervisor in overseeing all operations in the daycare section of the preschool.
Their typical duties include caring for all the children, parent meetings, regulation compliance, and educational program development.
Assistants must deal with challenging children and potentially difficult parents.
Program and Daycare Supervision
Responsible for the supervision and monitoring of the Health and Safety of all our children in the Daycare Programme;
To ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the Napping Room including the sleeping cots and the related;
Programme Administration and Operation
To oversee the daily routine.
This would include taking attendance, assisting in preparing and cleaning up after lunch and afternoon tea break, supervising children during meal time and activities, showering the children, preparing children for their naps, basic needs of children, and pastoral care;
To maintain a proper record of all children in our Full Day Programme;
Plan, Execute, and Review
Responsible for the daily activities and learning outcomes of children under our care;
Implement and encourage good health and hygiene practices (washing hands, toileting habits, etc.
);
Teach and encourage good behavior and basic manners;
Essential Reporting to Head of School ("HOS")
To monitor and report on the progress of children under our care;
To prepare Incident Reports as and when necessary - To observe the Standard Operating Procedure ("SOP") on recording and to report all incidents occurring in the school;
