Here, you will have the freedom to grow in a world of opportunity We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Technical Director to join our dynamic team in Bukit Damansara, Malaysia.  As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving technical excellence, innovation, and strategic growth across our organization.
Responsibilities will include: Coordinates and provides technical expertise for mid- to large-scale projects.
Establishes and maintains technical client relationships, contributing significantly to business development.
Drives the development and enhancement of technical skills within the department.
Engages in technical business development activities.
Delivers specialized technical guidance in studies and designs based on expertise.
Reviews, approves, and signs off on project work.
Serves as a leader in one or more technological areas.
Develops engineering budgets and schedules to meet the requirements of large, complex projects.
Provide technical leadership and oversight for all projects and initiatives within the organization Develop and implement technical strategies aligned with business objectives Lead and mentor a team of technical professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of technical solutions Qualifications Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline, or a related technical field 10+ years of experience in an engineering and / or technical leadership role within the industry Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale technical projects and initiatives Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies relevant to our business Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences Experience in budget management, resource allocation, and strategic planning Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams Strong project management skills and experience with various project management methodologies Proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative and innovative mindset Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is the world's trusted infrastructure consulting firm, delivering professional services throughout the project lifecycle – from advisory, planning, design and engineering to program and construction management.
