Technical Engineer (C&S)

Assist in preliminary civil and structural design from conceptual drawings followed by detailed design, calculations and specifications.Liaise with engineering team and consultants to check and confer on the technical design and processes which meet project requirements.Submit engineering drawings and calculations to the appropriate authority and obtain planning approval.Execute inspection on works at site as and when required. Attended drawing clarifications, amendments to drawings and problems at site.Apply for certificate of fitness for occupation from appropriate authorities. Study, highlight and resolve discrepancies of drawings and specifications. Requirements: At least bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.Design experience in a consulting firm is a plus.Sound knowledge of the technical operations and processes in the construction industry.Practical knowledge of project plan development and implementation.Knowledge of local business and government rules and regulations.Willing to be stationed at Johor Bahru, Johor.
