Job Description Our Technology team is the backbone of our business.
We pride ourselves in assisting the digital bank develop a competitive advantage through innovative initiatives, effective and efficient use of data and deploying digital technology solutions that help achieve both the bank's strategic goals and meet operational requirements.
The Technical Project Manager is a key member of our Enterprise Architecture, strategy and delivery team and is responsible for overseeing and managing the project management processes within the technology function of the bank.
The Technical PM shall oversee and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects within an organization.
Tech PM is responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the specified requirements.
Additionally, Tech PM plays a crucial role in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance project efficiency and drive successful project outcomes.
Job Description:   Lead and manage technical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that project goals, scope, timeline, and budget are achieved.
Define project objectives, requirements, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, including vendors, developers, engineers, designers, and other project stakeholders, to ensure effective collaboration and timely project execution.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as necessary.
Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
Collaborate with product/domain owners, architects, and subject matter experts to define technical solutions and ensure alignment with business needs.
Apply project management best practices and methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall, depending on the project requirements.
Analyze and document business requirements, processes, and workflows through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and documentation review.
Elicit and clarify business needs and translate them into functional and non-functional requirements.
Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments to evaluate potential solutions and their alignment with business goals.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical teams to define and prioritize requirements, ensuring clear understanding and alignment.
Create and maintain detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), use cases, user stories, and other relevant artifacts.
Conduct business process modeling and analysis to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
Collaborate with technical teams to design and validate technical solutions that address business requirements.
Assist in test planning and coordination, including test case development, test execution, and defect management.
Support change management activities, including user training and documentation    Job Requirements:   Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Information System, Project Management, Business Administration or a related field preferred; or with equivalent work experience together with professional certifications  Minimum 7 years of professional experience as Technology PMO, Project Manager, Project Lead or in similar technical roles, preferably in complex enterprise environments  Possessing relevant certifications in project management, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 will be an advantage.
Familiarity with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban will be advantageous  Have work experience in project management and leadership roles, and experience in industries related to technology, such as technology services, software development, or infrastructure management  In-depth knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices is necessary.
Have a strong understanding of project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure processes, with competencies in creating project charters, defining project scope, managing budgets and resources, and mitigating risks and issues.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Able to lead and inspire project teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and facilitate effective communication and collaboration across various departments, with strong presentation and negotiation abilities   Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and compliance with organizational policies and regulations
