The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with exceptional sales skills to promote and sell products to a diverse client base, including architects, engineers, contractors, and distributors.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Client Management
Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients in the timber construction industry.
Achieve sales targets by promoting company products and services through presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations.
Provide tailored solutions to meet client needs, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Technical Expertise and Support
Offer technical advice and training on the application and benefits of company products.
Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to clients, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
Collaborate with the technical team to address client inquiries and troubleshoot challenges.
Market Development
Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to identify new business opportunities.
Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and professional associations.
Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with the regional sales team, technical support, and logistics teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Provide feedback to product development teams to support continuous innovation.
Key Requirements
Education:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.
Strong understanding of timber construction and associated products.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
