Job Summary
• This role is responsible for the meticulous management of spare parts inventory, tools, certified test equipment, and service-related items, ensuring their availability and organization within the service repair depot. The role oversees system installations with precision, reporting progress comprehensively. The role actively engages in troubleshooting tasks, performs facility inspections, and supports continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggestions. The role also coordinates departmental work, mentors the team, and maintains positive working relationships with associates and management.ResponsibilitiesManages spare parts inventory, tools, certified test equipment, and items related to the service repair depot, ensuring availability and organization.
Oversees the installation of systems, meticulously planning, reporting progress, and executing tasks with precision.
Engages in troubleshooting tasks to identify issues in non-operational equipment and executes equipment modifications as instructed by test or manufacturing engineers.
Performs facility inspections and due diligence efforts, meticulously documenting findings related to conditions affecting operations.
Supports continuous improvement by learning from equipment breakdowns and providing feedback and suggestions for enhancements.
Enforces strict adherence to checklists and procedures and verifies the availability of up-to-date revisions of procedures and schematics before commencing work.
Applies extensive knowledge, resolves complex issues, and recommends improvements through creative and effective approaches.
Coordinates departmental work, mentors the team, and serves as an escalation point for different issues in the related area of work.
Identifies opportunities for improvement, makes recommendations, and also assures effective business controls through review, analysis, and verification.
Education & Experience Recommended
• High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED)/Higher Secondary education or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 6-8 years of related work experience, preferably in equipment diagnosis, technical repair, blueprint reading, or a related field.Preferred Certifications
