Technical Support Engineer

Responsible for the provision of technical assistance and consultancy services to the technical team, ensuring overall quality of technical pre-sales and post-sales services to Renewable Energy Segment customers. Responsible to provide excellent and reliable after-sale support to customers; as well as technical related products introduction of new technologies releases and new products technical adaptation to the country.ResponsibilitiesPre-sales and Post-sales support
• Provide technical assistance and consultation for pre-sales and post-sales service to technical team and meet customers' expectations.
• Develop technical competency to support products and solutions
• Monitor and provide technical support at project sites to ensure that the work quality meets established standards as well as customers' requirements.
• Attend all projects' site meetings when required and perform sites visits with the business development team upon project enquiries.
• Prepare technical documentation for project bidding and assist in tendering process.
• Attend all necessary projects' site meetings when required in order to ensure smooth hand over.
Technical Management Functions
• Conduct regular technical updates and knowledge sharing session with the technical team.
• Maintain high level of professional services and contacts with all major customers.
• Provide consultation in systems' design, installation and technical clarification to the pre-sales team and customers.
• Responsible to set up Proof of Concept, product demonstration and integration.
Required qualificationsBachelor's degree / Diploma preferably in Electrical and Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Degree with 3 years' experience or Diploma with at least 5 years' experience in Photovoltaic Installation or equivalent combination of education and experience in Photovoltaic/ Renewable Energy industry.
Ability to assemble, install, and/or maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) systems in compliance with technical requirement and site plans.
Possess good communication skills.
Creative and innovative thinker with good business acumen.
