Technical Support Engineer

Position:Technical Support Engineer
Department:Electrical/Electronic Engineering
Responsibilities:Provide pre-sales and after-sales technical support
Conduct product training
Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations based on client applications and needs, including setting up demo kits
Support in applications development that require various hardware interfacing
Support and set up prototypes for proof of concept
Lead, support, and participate in special projects as needed
Select and manage the activities of outside contractors, ensuring they are integrated into the project and that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service
Participate in seminars, workshops, roadshows, and exhibitions
Requirements:Possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
Hands-on experience in PLC and electrical instrumentation
2 to 3 years of working experience in the related automation field is an added advantage
Good knowledge in PLC programming (CoDeSys Software Platform) and GUI interface
Knowledge in Open Protocols such as MQTT, OPC, BACnet, Modbus is an added advantage
Experience with PLC types such as ABB, Omron, Mitsubishi, Schneider, and Beckhoff is an added advantage
Able to work independently, self-motivated with a good personality and working attitude
Possess own transport, willing to travel and standby for service support (if required)
