Technician (Electric)

Description
• Electrical maintenance technicians maintain, repair, install, and upgrade electrical and mechanical equipment, components, tools, and machinery.
• They work independently most of the time, but report to their supervisors.
Generally, they work daytime weekday hours, though there will be times when they are required to be on call and work night and weekend hours.
• Any company that has electrical systems to maintain will hire electrical maintenance technicians, including apartment complexes, construction sites, factories, and warehouses.
