The main purpose of this role is to ensure product hardware, particularly in-vehicle hardware, is installed, configured, and serviced adequately to ensure optimum performance.
This is a hands-on role with a requirement to travel frequently to be on-site for all installation and maintenance jobs.
In doing so, the Technician will be responsible for:
Installation of all hardware in a vehicle, including in-vehicle electrical wiring, per project requirements.
Configuration of product according to specifications.
Replacement of damaged hardware components when necessary.
Uninstallation of all hardware components at the end of trials with potential clients.
Support product team for product development, customization, and new product testing.
Planned preventive maintenance with clients according to company SOP.
Troubleshooting product issues independently or with support.
Completing site service reports and project documentation as necessary.
Perform other administrative duties as necessary.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience: (Indicate mandatory or preferred)
Malaysian ONLY.
Computer literate – mandatory.
Engineering or Technical educational background is beneficial.
Demonstrated customer service experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
At least 3 years of experience working on-site.
Possess own transport and driving license class D (car).
