Technician - Engineering (Mechanical System) MASB @ LangkawiJob DescriptionPOSITION GENERAL SUMMARY
Responsible for the operations and maintenance of the airport engineering equipment/installations/facilities for system serviceability and availability.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS
Supervises and ensures full execution of SAP System (Plant Maintenance Module).
Provides guidance, advice, and direction to all subordinates to promote high standards of maintenance culture, efficiency, productivity, teamwork, quality services, and personnel job enrichment.
Revises PPM checklist, tasks list & master data and analyzes technical reports; identifies trends for facilities and equipment breakdowns and recommends continuous improvement.
Reviews the performance of facilities/systems and provides input and recommendations for any upgrading or refurbishment work.
Establishes new contracts; manages and ensures that contractors deliver the service standard as required in the contract for outsourcing work.
Executes the master maintenance plans and master maintenance schedules as well as implements approved capital and operating budget.
Aims to achieve KPIs.
Complies with the standards of regulatory requirements (MAHB Policies and Procedures).
SkillsAnalyzes technical reports, identifies trends for facilities and equipment breakdowns, and recommends continuous improvement actions.
Analyzes cost implications of operations, maintenance, and repair activities and recommends budgetary considerations.
Keeps abreast with the latest technology in the industry.
Plans and ensures high standards of maintenance work.
Minimum RequirementsDiploma/Certificate holder, preferably with 1 year working experience in a related field.
SPM / SPM(V) with POLYTECHNIC / MLVK / SKM certificate from Polytechnic.
