The Technician is responsible for the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of instruments or service parts within the manufacturing environment.
This role ensures production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality and process control.
The position also involves material management, quality data collection, and active participation in workplace safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Perform assembly and testing of instruments and service parts, ensuring compliance with production standards and specifications.
Troubleshoot and evaluate testing fall-out instruments and parts, adhering to engineering requirements.
Monitor and control manufacturing processes to ensure product quality meets specified work instructions.
Assist in the collection and compilation of quality data for filing and engineering studies.
Manage manufacturing material control and perform regular material cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
Ensure that production materials are utilized effectively and efficiently to minimize waste.
Meet daily production quantity targets as per the production plan, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Participate in multi-skill training and provide on-the-job training for new technicians to enhance team capabilities.
Actively engage in personal development through cross-training and job rotation opportunities.
Initiate and participate in workplace safety programs, 5S activities, and environmentally friendly practices.
Uphold the highest standards of safety and compliance within the manufacturing environment.
Recommend and implement solutions to enhance productivity and improve product quality.
Engage in activities aimed at process improvement and efficiency enhancements.
Perform other manufacturing-related duties as assigned by the supervisor to support overall production operations.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum Certification in Mechanical, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent qualifications.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably within a related industry.
High degree of technical competence, creativity, and problem-solving skills related to manufacturing processes and equipment.
