Electromechanical engineering technicians collaborate with electromechanical engineers in the development of electromechanical equipment. Electromechanical engineering technicians are responsible for building, installing, testing, monitoring, and maintaining the electromechanical equipment, circuits and systems. They test this by the use of test instruments such as oscilloscopes and voltmeters. Electromechanical engineering technicians also use soldering equipment and hand tools to repair electromechanical equipment. - Good knowledge in any of the following disciplines such as Radar, Communications Network, Radio Frequency, Direction Finders or Computer Network. - Experience in servicing, repair and maintenance of electrical and electronic component would be added advantage. - Preferably with experience in installing, repairing, servicing and overhaul Deutz, John Deer & IVECO Generators from 30KVA to 300 KVA. - Ex-serviceman from Army, Air Force or Navy is preferred. - Should be physically fit to undertake field work in islands or high altitude locations. - Willing to travel on short notice. - Willing to be 24 hours standby.AMCOP's vision is to be Malaysia's leading systems integrator providing services in telecommunication, computing and surveillance projects in the areas of maritime, aviation, defence & security.
