Job Responsibilities:Design Test Tooling assemblies for Electrical Test First Time Build of cable assemblies.
Review the design of printed circuit boards and fixtures for Electrical Test of First Time Build of HDR cable product and provide feedback to designer.
Create Process Documentation for Electrical Test processes.
Create and qualify Test Programs for Electrical Test.
Cooperate with SIG ATG to assemble, debug, and qualify new Test Systems.
Support production floor for troubleshooting Low and High-Speed Test systems.
Perform failure analysis of Electrical Test failed products and determine root cause with support from Global Samtec teams.
Cooperate with global Samtec teams to maintain Samtec HDR product serialization system.
Part number creation and configuration in Samtec serialization and tracking software.
Collaborate with control engineer, process engineer, and manufacturing engineer for transfer project & sustaining improvement project on Electrical Test side.
Required Experience:Above 2 years related working experience on PCB board design.
Familiar with LSET, HSET, signal integrity test.
Knowledge of PCB manufacturing process is a plus.
Experience in creating and maintaining serialization scripting.
Strong interpersonal, technical, verbal, and written communication skills are a must.
Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes, and not suffer from any sensory deprivation and/or paralysis of the limbs.
Preferred Education:Bachelor's degree in electronic engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent.
