Minimum Requirements:
Experience in Textile Manufacturing Field is COMPULSORY.
Responsible for the setup and performance of complex equipment and test setups for Consumer clients.
Builds and/or adapts setup and test equipment for performance of tests.
Perform fabric, garment, and textile testing and evaluation, determining whether a sample passes testing based on predetermined criteria.
Testing specimens will have conditioned by laying on conditioning rack at conditioned room for at least 4 hours.
Conduct spec testing such as density, width, washing test, water test, piling test, bursting strength test, stretch & recovery test, and color fastness to crocking test.
Results recorded in QA Fabric Testing Report.
Color shading checking (sewing-DACEB) AND Perspiration Test.
Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job.
Establishes and maintains the test proficiency training program and competencies for laboratory personnel.
Job Duties:
Cutting samples received from Finishing Department.
If the spec is out, inform Lab Supervisor to rectify the problem.
Shrinkage out needs to Re-Test and Density.
Return to Dye House or Finishing Department for rework/re-setting.
Performs other duties as directed.
